Coloring made it dry,lifeless looking.
Now I do notice the women keep their distance from me while mature man seems to like me now. Oh! Well...
If u like it keep it. If not, color.

Thanks for sharing

JosieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22008807.post-18478852906999093402018-10-05T20:31:03.236-04:002018-10-05T20:31:03.236-04:00I feel your pain. I never tried the oops, because I was scary. My stylist refused to help me, who knows why. I finally just let it grow out and it was okay for a while, but I just feel so old now. I’m still not sure I did the right thing 3 years later. If I were still working, I may not have had the nerve to do it.Su-zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07817519272798857249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22008807.post-46822679903931446192018-10-05T15:43:17.423-04:002018-10-05T15:43:17.423-04:00I found my first grey hair at 21 and have been get...I found my first grey hair at 21 and have been getting more and more of them since then. I never tried to hide them, but did get a green ombre and now that's the first thing people notice ;)Annekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06685471808997698424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22008807.post-64165410615463827972018-10-05T13:31:06.336-04:002018-10-05T13:31:06.336-04:00I totally understand your dilemma---those thoughts...I totally understand your dilemma---those thoughts have tripped through my 72 yr brain. But since I'm usually mistaken for a 50 something I'm not ready to give up my L'Oreal ;-}. An interesting read on this is on Coco's Loft about her process. The post is "Beauty post! Letting that hair go gray". It's date is January 6, 2017. Her website is: cocosloft.wordpress.com --(sorry I don't know how to hyperlink).
Do what makes YOU FEEL GOOD!! A salon could have done what you wanted in one or two visits. With their professional products (I would love to buy their professional products, but they're not available to the public), they can strip color without damage to your hair and without leaving a bad smell. They can also pretreat your hair so your gray or white will absorb color, and so that the color will be even on all of your hair. I definitely like going to the salon. I think you might, too, especially if you find a personable stylist. I hope your hair turns out the way you want. Thank you for sharing that Instagram account--I definitely felt like I was on the young side for gray roots, but apparently not! Best of luck managing your grow-out and the changes it will bring. <3

I'm 33 and have dyed my hair for over half my life because my shade of red feels like "me" much moreso than my natural color ever did. I'll keep coloring it for a long time yet, not because I think gray is "old" but because I'm not ready to retire the red. But I intend to fully embrace gray...someday. ;-)Abbeyhttp://lifeinamadshouse.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
