The front waistband looks good & I imagine it's more comfortable . I've made this skirt a couple of times and both tend to droop towards my hips as the day goes on, even though I did make some adjustments in that area. It's hard to tell with the linen, but it looks to me like you could even let it out in the back just a little for wearing ease.
