Referring to the quote from yesterday:
"A Buddhist friend told me that if you're feeling stressed, get rid of the stuff you don't need and finish the things you've started."
Does anyone know the actual Buddhist saying (or passage) this is from? Thanks!
Sorry, I can't help here. Every Buddhist book I've read would say something along the lines of, "If you're feeling stressed, close your eyes and name the sounds you hear. Look around the room and name what you see." And then it would say when you're re-grounded in the present moment, remember what was stressful to you and realize that you made all that drama up. 'Cause what's going on in the present doesn't actually include all that stress and drama.
ReplyDeleteThat actually works for me. :)
I should say that it actually works for me when I remember to do it. LOL
