T & LO considered this an unsophisticated use of color. WHAT?! I don't get it. If anything, it's a retro influenced palette from the 1940s. I'd wear it proudly.
I loved Emilio Sosa's use of color in his final Project Runway collection. Especially the splash of a new color revealed in the coat and jacket linings.

Wow, if anything, I think this is a very sophisticated use of color! Very subtle use of hue! I like it, and I'd wear it too.
ReplyDeleteWHAT???
ReplyDeleteI don't even LIKE wearing colors, and I'm finding that gambit tempting.
Dark neutral (black?) with analogous color scheme (olive, blue, violet) and sudden reveal of compliment to the biggest block of color. Nifty.
Emilio soooooo should have won....
ReplyDeleteEmilio Sosa is a master. He knows how to constuct a garment and how to design beautiful clothes for women. The colors he choose for his final runway show were beautiful; however in my humble opinion the colors did not have the attention grabbing impact on the runway. Of course I will wear anything Emilio makes.
ReplyDeleteI'd wear everything in his collection also!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your nice comments about the Post-it dress... and I agree, colours here are splendid.
