Guess What I Brought Home...

Yup, the book that everyone is talking about (or actually writing about on their blogs.) When I first heard about it I was thinking I would love to get this book since I won't be able to afford that drafting class again this year but I felt guilty spending money that I didn't have.

Then I realized that I still had an Amazon.com gift certificate* from my last birthday. No, not the birthday just one month ago but from my birthday in early 2009!

So of course, I had to order it! The certificate also allowed me to get the most recent Imogen Heap album, even though her first one was still on my wish list.

*Thank you Cassidy family!!

I bought a copy of this book with a gift card this winter. It's so refreshing to see such wearable, simple designs with cute details. I'm looking forward to drafting something using her instructions some day. Good luck with the same!

  5. Which Imogen Heap album are you looking for? I think her first album was from when she was a teenager, like ten years ago or something -- I Megaphone. I like her music, but her album with Frou Frou is one of my all-time faves.

  6. If you like Imogen Heap she did some stuff with Jeff Beck that I loooove. Look on youtube and you might find their version of "Rollin' and Tumblin" floating around.

  7. Antoinette,
I shouldn't have said first album I meant last, I think it's called Hide & Seek? I played it constantly from her website so I felt I didn't need to have a hard copy, but now I think I do. This new one hasn't jelled with me yet.
