Thank you SO MUCH Antoinette, Wende, Mme. Chez Shoes, and Smitty* for your kind words the other day.
They truly helped me through a bad night. It's just hard to be reminded just how lonely you are, in like the deepest sense. I have a lot of changes to make in my life (things I really wish I could change, like yesterday, though that's not possible) and sometimes things like this can slow me down. Luckily, I also received help through a late night talk with a friend in Miami that helped me stop crying and to get over that hump.
Today is another one of those days for me where everyone I know is busy doing something and I'm just trying to keep myself busy at home and get some things done.
So go out there and celebrate for me and I hope your 4th is full of fun, food, and friends!

Pssst... I'm home, too, reading a novel and painting dollhouse parts. So you're not alone in lacking plans, and I think we owe it to ourselves to have a good time at it.
Happy 4th!
Getting things done is a great thing to do! :) We celebrated early, last night, with a small group of friends. I'm enjoying the quiet day, and we'll make a nice dinner and see the fireworks later tonight.
*hugs*
Thank you (again) Wende, I knew there had to be others.
I'm working a double shift today. Change is hard, but sometimes you have to just do it for things to improve. Hope things start looking up for you soon.
Hi Isaspacey,
I couldn't leave a link because I don't exist on the blogosphere! But thank you for reaching out to me. I've been thinking about you and I wanted to tell you one more thing: your mom is not out of your life. It's different now than before, but she's always there. I'm sure you know that, though. I hope your holiday was peaceful. Be well!
